Ms. Plymesser

Meet Ms. Plymesser
Grade 4

I am a product of Catholic education.  St. Joseph School in Strongsville is where I attended grade school and then I went to Nazareth Academy for high school.  After graduating from high school I went to the University of Akron and graduated in 1974 with a degree in elementary education with a minor in special needs.  Since then I have been involved in the teaching profession.

When I first started teaching, my class had no exposure to computers at all.  Over my years of teaching I have watched the development of technology in the classroom and am always trying to learn different ways to incorporate it into my teaching.

In the fourth grade I teach Reading, Language Arts, Religion, and Science.  Also, I teach third grade Science. Besides teaching, I am one of the advisors for Student Council.

To relax I enjoy going to the links for a quick round of golf. My dream is to get a hole-in-one. Curling up on my couch and reading a good book is another thing I do to relax. Books full of mystery and suspense are my favorite types of books.  Cooking and creating new recipes is another thing that I enjoy doing. Maybe someday you’ll see me on one of those cooking competitions that you see on television.
